Chaitanya once during an interview already mentioned that he wanted to be an independent filmmaker and to have a signature of his own in the films. Tollywood popular comedian Brahmanandam’s son Goutham is all set to act in this film. Goutham has earlier acted in the films ’Pallakilo Pelli Kuthuru’ and ’Varevva’ but those films proved to be duds at the BO (I frankly never even heard these film names ).

Jr. NTR’s Baadshah movie Directed by ace director Srinu Vaitla apart from Jr. NTR having the main role it is heard that Brahmanandam has a big role and occupies a major chunk of the movie, Srinu Vaitla used Brahmanandam in a very important role in Dookudu and everyone knows how big a hit the pair was. Ravibabu has come out and stated that this movie is based on a real life story -
“It is based on a real life incident that happened to actress Yami Gautam. She narrated the incident to me sometime back and I was so intrigued by it that I immediately decided to make it into a film”
Computer-generated imagery (CGI) has been used extensively in this film upto 25 minutes of footage can be seen but it is soo well executed that the differences between the original and CGI images cannot be made out – as stated by Ravi Babu.
It is further seen that Avunu by Ravibabu will not be having any songs.
