Well i acknowledge the fact that Director Rajamouli’s next big project ‘Bahubali’ is drawing the full attention of his fans, movie buffs, media and industry people due to two good reasons. The first one for being a period film directed by him. The second reason is for having great star cast like Prabhas, Rana and Anushka.

Fan art seems to be on the rise and therefor we see many posters of Bahubali circulating in the net. But some of the posters are so badly made that i couldn’t help laughing and writing this post.

Seriously guys as much as i appreciate the effort and hard work, i would like to ask the assumed photo shop experts to stop making such tacky posters. Morphing the face of Gerard Butler and POP is the best you could do?

After all its “Bahubali” not “Manushulu bali” and the director is Rajamouli and not Omkar annaya.

Mahesh Babu who is busy with many films is going to take another one which is going to be a Bollywood Movie remake. The Movie which Mahesh Babu is going to buy was recently released in Bollywood starring Arshad Warsi, Boman Irani, Saurabh Shukla, Amrita Rao in main lead roles – “Jolly LLB”. It was initially stuck in controversies with some lawyers complaining and filing cases as the movie was degrading the Lawyer profession.

Mahesh Babu is said to be in talks with Fox Star Studios who are the Producers of the movie and the movie is set to be remade in Telugu and Tamil and Fox Star Studios is supposedly stating 15 Cr each for Telugu and Tamil which makes it around 30 crores for the two rights. It is going to be a costly movie remake, but looking at the reputation of Mahesh Babu it will surely be one to watch out for.

It is refreshing to see that Mahesh has choosen this kind of Comedy centered movie and not running behind the crowd pulling action and sentiment centered movies.

It is a great day for Tollywood as our own Eega movie has made it large in the Film Industry all over the world as it is being screened in Cannes Film Festival which is considered one of the most prestigious film festivals in the world, even attending Cannes is considered a great opportunity where the big wigs of Hollywood will be present, actors, directors, producers, cinematographers etc.

Ace director S.S. Rajamouli’s special effects extravaganza, ‘Eega’, is still going places. The movie is going to be screened at the Marché du Film (Film Market) event at Cannes. A few members from the team of ‘Eega’ are flying to the event. Interestingly, ‘Baahubali’ producer Shobhu Yarlagadda is also accompanying the team.

“Going to attend Cannes Film Festival and the Film Market. First time going to any festival. Will check out what’s it all about! Excited!. We are also screening Eega in the Cannes Film Market (March Du Film) on the 20th!”, tweeted Shobhu.

We are being told that after the screening of ‘Eega’, the team will showcase some aspects of ‘Bahubali’ for the international film fraternity.

Mahesh Babu who is not known for his public appearances recently surprised his personal Makeup man Pattabi with the best surprise gift he has got ever in his life. Mahesh Babu who was in Singapore with his family for a holiday had returned recently and immediately gave Pattabi a big surprise by going for Pattabi’s House Warming ceremony without any notice.

Pattabi was really happy and surprised by Mahesd Babus gesture as he is not known to be seen outside or in any public events and prefers to keep away from most of the events. Pattabi who had invited Mahesh Babu for his house warming ceremony was sure that the super star would not attend his house warming ceremony but much to his surprise Mahesh made time and attended his function for a little time. It is a great gesture by the Super Star towards his personal make up man.

Ram charan was involved in a fight in Banjara Hills near GVK one where his car Aston Martin was not given way. Ram Charan first supposedly was involved in a verbal spat with the 2 people in the white alto seen in the images below. Ram charan immediately called up his private security persons as there were 4 security people who came and started hitting the 2 people in white shirt and red shirt respectively. There has not been any official case filed against Charan or his Security persons apparently showing that it was solved behind scenes.

Varna Movie one big budget movie with our Jejamma in the leading role produced by PVP Cinemas at a cost of 55 Crores which is being made in Telugu and Tamil as a Bilingual, as we know Anushka has huge fan following in Tamil as well. To make the movie eye pleasing Varna Movie was shot exclusively in the former Soviet Union country of Georgia, which has out of the world locations which will mesmerize the audience with the special effects and the natural beauty as well along with the gracious presence of Anushka. Anushka who immediately after the shooting od Mirchi completed the shooting of Varna is now busy with Rajamouli, Prabhas and Rana’s epic movie Bahubali.

Varna Production and Release Date: Varna movie is said to have completed its shooting stage and the post production stage is under process, the movie is to be released in the month of August 2013.

Anjali who made allegations about her aunt and a Tamil director Kalanjiyam is now completely separated from them and this was possible with the help of this Producer who Anjali has married according to latest rumors in Tollywood Industry. Anjali who has shot to fame with Seethamma vakitlo Sirimalle chetu has bagged many offers because of her role as sita in SVSC opposite Venkatesh. She has earlier worked in Bus Stop where her acting was praised.

Anjali is now working in many projects including one with Pawan Kalyan and she was not available to respond to this strong rumors about her marriage. 100 YEARS OF INDIAN CINEMA

First Indian full length Indian feature film “Raja Harishchandra” completes 100 years today (May 3, 2013). Raja Harishchandra was released on May 3, 1913. It was directed by Dadasaheb Phalke who is considered as the father of Indian Cinema. It was a silent film and duration of the film was 40 minutes. It was in four reels.

Only one print was made and exhibited in a single theater Coronation Cinema Hall, Goregaon. This film was initially premiered on 21 April 1913 at the Olympia Theatre, Grant Road and public release was on 3rd May. From Raja Harishchandra to this day Indian Cinema has come a long way from tollywood becoming the biggest producer of movies with the most movies produced in an year. With budgets of movies soaring to 100 crores and the earning crossing 100 crores Indian movies have come a far way from Raja Harishchandra.

Prabhas’s look in Bahubali

One has to agree with me that the difference in looks is just unbelievable.

The pictures of Prabhas in this different look are already circulating the net. The hunk of tollywood is looking very eccentric with the full grown beard.Besides that he has certainly bulked up for his role in Bahubali. Even Rana Daggubati who plays the evil brother of Prabhas in Bahubali has been sporting a beard these days.If it has not been a Rajamouli’s film i am sure the look might not have been received so well by the fans.

One must just wait for the first look of the film to see what Rajamouli really has in his mind.Prabhas is playing the role of an ancient king in this movie.Anyways kudos to them for the dedication they are potraying.  Let us just hope that the barbers don’t go out of business once the movie becomes a hit.
